E.S.Sørensen, a Danish company, produces a fine collection of high-quality, handmade oil lamps designed and made using models and tools dating back to the end of the 19th century. Each handmade lamp is crafted of the finest quality brass available, is numbered individually, and is hand lacquered, requiring no polishing. The Passenger lamp is a solid brass wall oil lamp that has taken its inspiration from the old railway, ship and ferry lamps used to illuminate train compartments and ship's cabins at the end of the 19th century. ThIS nautical wall lamp has had many names through the past in Denmark: "The 90 years lamp", "Esso lamp" and "Saloon lamp". Hand polished and lacquered brass. 6" circular burner. Today they produce a fine collection of high quality oil lamps and candlesticks, all designed and crafted using tools and methods dating back to the late 19th century.
